   APC offers a wide array of grass roots consulting services  tailored to fit the needs of a diverse client base. Many of these services are exclusive to APC, making it the nation’s largest full-service grass roots company.

Services offered include:

Letters.   Our clients have had great success achieving their grass roots goals with the persuasive letters we have collected on their behalf. Our experienced grass roots team is able to collect unique and original letters on a face-to-face basis by assisting the letter writer in putting their own thoughts on paper. Our letters can be mailed to elected and regulatory officials and to the local newspaper. These letters have provided substantial impact for our clients, often turning around public stances taken by opponents in political battles.

Plebiscite Petition Signatures.   APC has built it’s reputation on signature gathering - collecting as many as 1 million signatures in less than four months - and we have turned this method into an art form for use in plebiscite petitions. Whether our clients need only a few key signatures or hundreds of thousands to demonstrate public support or opposition to an issue, APC can design, collect, and deliver signatures with impact.

Grass Roots Network.   With a phone call, APC can have its grass roots organizers operative in all 50 states. With more than 20 years of building grass roots networks, APC has the most extensive and experienced ground forces available in the business. Whether our client’s needs are for door-to-door activists, workers at a local super market, or demonstrating support or opposition to an issue, APC will provide ready and able management and support to all grass roots campaigns.

Third Party Organization Development.   APC has been instrumental in building from scratch special interest organizations to add additional leverage to our client’s views and needs. This has included business organizations with more than three thousand members to other citizen groups with hundreds of thousands of members. APC also offers exclusive fund raising programs that have the potential of fully funding political activities.

Telephone Calls.   Depending on the emotion generated by an issue, we have had success utilizing our affiliated telephone banks to contact selected people and informing them of the key issues during a campaign. If they are motivated to support our clients’ side of the issue, we ask if they would like to talk directly to key members of the governing body making the decision. If the answer is yes, calls can be patched directly to the decision maker’s office. We are also able to send instant telegrams on behalf of a caller, using their exact comments in the text.

Public Hearing Volunteers.   At any public hearing there are speakers and supporters on both sides of the issue. APC has a proven track record recruiting people to attend public meetings and either speak on our client’s behalf or just show support in numbers. APC also can bring props to a meeting or public event and works with media outlets to encourage it to attend.

Coordination With Allied Groups.   APC has established relationships with numerous public interest organizations, from taxpayer groups to pro-business organizations to consumer groups. We can bring some of these associations to the table to enlist their support on behalf of our clients. In many cases, having a third party such as this articulate a point of view has much more impact than a message delivered by a special interest directly involved in a political debate.

News Actualities.   In numerous smaller media markets around the country, local news outlets depend on readily available pre-recorded news actualities. We work with our client’s spokespeople and other opinion leaders to provide pre-recorded newsworthy reports to radio and television stations. These reports accumulate significant air time and provide an excellent source of free media to our clients.

E-Mail.   With the phenomenal growth of the World Wide Web, millions of Californians are utilizing e-mail as a means of communicating with one another. APC maintains a large database of special interest oriented e-mail addresses. By communicating via e-mail, we can send our message - spontaneously - to millions of Internet users at virtually no cost. We can direct messages to be sent to governing bodies - most of which utilize e-mail for communication - which have a sizable impact on specific issues.

Telecommunications Consultants.   Over the years, APC has worked with some of the world’s largest telecommunications companies on issues ranging from deregulation to enrolling business and residential customers to their service. APC workers have signed up as many as 20,000 new customers per week for long distance telephone service. APC has also completed canvassing campaigns in the local telephone market, signing up thousands of customers to a variety of telecom packages.

International Consulting.   Through APC’s international division,, APC International, we can provide all of our grass roots services to clients in Europe and Russia. Coordinated from our offices in Brussels and Paris, APC has exported its unique grass roots and ballot qualification skills to areas of the world hungry for this campaign technology. With dozens of consultants from our extended network, APC is prepared to quickly engage in any grass roots oriented campaign utilizing American techniques with appropriate cultural considerations.
